Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child...
This child needs a good old-fashioned whuppin'... and repeated as often as necessary to put this kid straight. Then the parents should get theirs-- physical as well as financial --for not teaching their child how to behave in public.

I'm flabbergasted! The little punk needs a good, old-fashioned trip out behind the shed, and his folks need to pay every penny of this woman's medical bills, and then some! What, are adults supposed to be held hostage to some brat's tantrums?
This is exactly the kind of result we can expect when we become our kid's friends, rather than parents.
To think that MY kid might be exposed to a heathen like that when she starts school this fall...
I agree with EL. And I agree with Brooke. But the kid still does need some counseling. Used to be, an uncle or older cousin or some other family member might be called on for such. If that's not possible, then he should get it some other way -- and his fricking parents, too. I'm thinking of the "scared straight" kind of counseling.
Maybe, ER... But he's probably not going to get it, and we'll be seeing him again in the news...
Makes me wonder if the kid isn't being abused at home himself. I've known of other cases where kids were being physically or sexually abused at home and it transferred into violent and unacceptable social behavior by them in public.
Maybe the whole family needs counseling.
And most of all... Jesus!
