In Memorium...

Today marks the 6th anniversary of the August 1st, 1999 execution-style double murder of Northview High School students J.B. Beasley and Tracie Hawlett. This case remains unsolved, and there are currently no suspects. It was Tracie's 17th birthday.

I am a cousin to Tracie and I cannot believe that it has been this long and still nothing has come up. I live in Missouri and only saw Tracie once a year before her dad (Bob) passes away, then only occassionally after Aunt Carol (her mom) remarried. I did however, keep up with her through other family members. I miss her smile. I rec'd pics from them and I miss her smiling face.
This murder is a terrible thing and I am starting to get some help to see what I can get rolling about this. There is no reason for the delay in closing this. I know that there are cold cases older than this one, but I am family and family cannot rest until we know.

I know this is small comfort, but the person or persons who killed your cousin and her friend will have to answer to God for these murders.

My best to you and your family. May God richly bless you all.
