Some mull idea of Sen. Bill Clinton
WASHINGTON - If Hillary Rodham Clinton wins the presidency, some top Democrats would like to see her husband, former President Bill Clinton, appointed to serve out Hillary’s unexpired Senate term.
“As a senator, he’d be a knockout,” said Harold Ickes, who was once a top White House aide to Bill Clinton and now gives behind-the-scenes advice to Hillary. “He knows issues, he loves public policy and he’s a good politician.”
Some Democrats and political analysts say Bill Clinton would thrive in the world’s greatest deliberative body, much like Lyndon Johnson did before he became president.
Good Grief!!!

All for it. Then he can run in his own right.
I can just see him and Al Franken workin' together!
And of Al Franken as well.
He wasn't funny on Saturday Night Live, he was REALLY funny on Air America, and he would be REALLY REALLY NOT funny in the Senate.
Don't we already have enough blithering Idiots in the Senate?
I'm a little disturbed by the thought that all of the United States' political leadership for the last quarter century has come from two families. Is there no one else?
Recently in my blog reading I've even been hearing people imagining drafting Jeb Bush to run against Hillary.
New York will love that
because as states go,
it is one of the Big Blues.
Yes, as a senator, and certainly with his wife away in Washington, he will have an inexhaustive supply of fat interns to sleep with.
And then lie about it.
He will be indulging in his two favorite activities:
Lying and cheating on his wife!
