Suckling the Seeds of Collapse

"America is one of the few countries (arguably the only country aside from Britain) that's based on an ideal. Certainly far more that than on arbitrary geography. And its the existence of a powerful America that allows Europeans and Canadians to take such a post-modernist view. History may not be at an end, but we've got the Americans to buffer the expense and gore of keeping it at bay."

Kobayashi Maru

Assuming America can sustain her current level of international intervention, and doesn't collapse from within. Her enemies are not merely those who wish to see her hurt, or resent her wealth, and preeminence in global politics. Many of her enemies are themselves American's.

Lady Liberty says far more than, "Send us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." She promises to suckle every malcontent and traitor at her breast.

Great post, El!
It's hard to keep from getting depressed watching events unfold nowadays, isn't it?

I take comfort in the fact that I am able to "lift up your eyes, your redeemer draweth nigh"!

Virgins! I'm getting something far better than virgins. But seriously, if standing against abortion makes me a religious fanatic, so be it.
