"If at First You Don't Appease..."

As one commenter put it... "This is the best Coulter article I have read in YEARS."

...And perfectly illustrates why Democrats should never again be given the reins of power.

Saying "the best Coulter article in years" is setting the bar pretty low, isn't it? Isn't that about like saying, "That's the best pile of dog dung my Howie's parted with in years!"?

Regardless, I suspect we'll both just have to live with the Dems being given the reins of power here in a year and a half. The Republicans are practically unelectable at this point (barring a Clinton nomination, in which case all bets are off...).

[Thanks T, for some reason I always get those two confused]

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Dan....

You say 'dog-squeeze' I say 'Bill Maher' (and Al Franken, Randi Rhodes, Rosie, and...)

And Dan, calling the race at this point is like... I don't know... Stupid? Like trying to predict rain one year out? Like swallowing a lump of coal and expecting to push out diamonds?

Coulter's right on this one.

Suckling at Coulter's bitter breast does not become you, EL.

This column "iilustrates" nothing but Coulter's exquisitely clever way with words, for which I admire her. Her one or two debatable points, as usual, are drowned out by her horse wit. (Say it fast).

She's right?

About what - this?

If you want a shorter rebuilding process, then we're going to have to wage less humane wars. The enemy -- as well as innocent civilians -- must be bombed into quivering terror. -Coulter, from the aforementioned pile of dung

Is the person speaking this sort of horror a person you really want to endorse and encourage others to read? Her rant is not logical, contains so many strawman that it's a fire hazard and is just so plain wrong-headed that I find it hard to believe anyone could take it seriously.

Perhaps, as dark humor/dumb comedy/satire. But not seriously.

Huh? Didn't say she was right. I said some of her points are debatable. And they are, elsewise no one would be debating them. Come on. The Devil himself has a measure of truth; that's the temptation.

Actually, that was directed to Eric, not you, ER. That's one of the problems of this time-delayed comments thingee, seems to me.

They do?

What legislation have they passed?

Can they over-ride a Veto?

Seems to me that Speaker Pelosi said it best... "The Gavels of power are now in the hands of America's children."

And they are getting absolutely nowhere.

Enjoy all of that power, you guys!

And, by the way, if you guys do not accept truth when it comes from the Holy Bible, then it is not suprizing that you pooh-pooh it when it comes from such a lowley messenger as Ann Coulter.

I LOVE Truth from the Holy Bible.

I just question your, Eric's or even my ability to point it out consistently.

Don't misrepresent, please.
