I was listening to "Coast to Coast" with George Noory last night and the topic was Anti-gravity. I thought, "yeah, right!" But it seems there is research going on, mostly privately funded, that has yielded results, albeit nothing to shake the world as of yet. So I went looking for info and found, for the most part, the usual psycho-babble paranormal fodder, but... then I happened onto ArsTechnica, a respectful and serious tech site. Imagine the middle east all but losing their strangle hold on the rest of the oil-hungry/dependent world. What would it do to their economy if they couldn't count on high oil prices to fund their ideologically backward societies? How then would they fund terrorism?
