"...and the Truth is back in business."

--Susan Ivanova

When has Truth ever been out of business? Does Truth cease to exist simply because men choose not to believe? Might as well ask if a tree falling in the forest makes noise if no one is there to hear it.

Noise is sound. Sound is wave frequency. Wave frequency is vibration. And any tree falling in the forest will cause vibration. Assuming he's near enough, a deaf man can feel the vibration of a tree falling in the forest-- He hears the tree falling, though not with his ears.

The same is true of Truth. The sensory organs that detect Truth may have atrophied and died within us, but Truth does not whisper in one's ear, it shouts in one's heart-- Where it can never be silenced.

Only ignored.

Perhaps some Truth will leak out of our Congress, after having plugged our ears these last years...

Lord, may it be.

The GOP is not an elephant whose great stumpy feet have been pressed to your ears. If you haven't heard any truth coming out of congress these last years... You haven't been listening.

This post had nothing to with politics, but if you want to go there...

It means that we can't know if someone is telling the truth unless we open our ears and listen it means that all these years we have only been hearing what we want to hear and not the truth it has nothing to do with politics

I've always felt that exact truth has to be subjective. For while two men may agree that the sky is blue. They can easily differ as to the shade of blue. But for each man the sky is the tone of blue that he sees, due to his individuality.

Perhaps this idea might also apply to religion? Is a freedom fighter "right" when he fights a totalitarian government? Is a democracy "right" to wage war on violent extremism? Is a person of faith "right" to kill an abortion doctor? Each person's prism of individual experience and thought will render a different answer to these equations.

By the way, I'm with Dan.

Lord, may the Truth FINALLY come from some of these Democrats who have denied it for so very long, for purely Political Reasons.

Nice of him to admit that he has been plugging his ears for these last few years...

How's that Coffee smell, Dan? (Now that you are finally awake...)
