"Get Your Rosaries Off My Ovaries!!!"

Uhh... Forgive me for pointing this out
to all you Pro-Murderers, but it's not your
Ovaries we Pro-Lifers want to protect. I'd
rather you carve out your ovaries if you
don't want children, rather than kill the
children you do produce.

I realize it's a cutsy-catchy slogan, but it's
not factual. It's not your Ovaries... It's your
unborn children, which-- last time I checked --are NOT ovaries.

The shirts are a slam against Australian
Federal Health Minister Tony Abbott, who
as it happens, is Catholic. What is especially
interesting is the logo at the bottom naming
the YWCA, a Christian youth organization,
as sponsor of the factually inaccurate pro-abortion-cum-personal attack "mobile billboard". The Victorian YWCA was actually selling these shirts over the internet for $25 each.

A Christian organization sponsoring abortion. I think it's safe to say the YWCA has ceased to be a Christian anything.

I know we have talked about abortion before, I have not nor would not ever have one myself, but.... I am pro choice ....Pro murderer in your eyes....and I do see how it is concidered killing.
This however does not make me a supporter. I wish no one had an abortion! ever!...but they do and have been for centuries, making it against the law stops nothing. It only makes people seek out unsafe and dangerous methods to end a situation the person has
obviosly suffered and struggled over. I imagine it is a choice that is very hard to make. Using abortion as birth control is a different story and should not be encouraged. what people need is more choices and support, not condemnation for the the mistakes they make.

It is not my place to condemn anyone; by calling abortion murder, I don't condemn, I only speak the truth.

I've read a lot of your stuff, and from your comments here, I know that abortion is not something you advocate. I regret I have hurt your feelings... I appreciate your comments. I honestly struggled over whether to use the "M" word, but couldn't find good enough reason to discard it.

I could have been more politic in my choice of words, but killing is murder-- except perhaps in self-defense, but even there it's a difficult question. Killing an unborn child seems particularly heinous.

Thank you for your comment and honest objections.

EL, maybe you can answer some questions that your post on abortion has engendered in me.

1. How far should the governmnet go to make sure that women who are pregnant carry their fetuses to term? Should they be refused alcohol and tobacco in stores and bars? Should women who don't want the child be held in monitored secure hospitals to keep them from iniating a natural abortion? Should the government pay for hospital costs associated with having children?

2. If the government forces women/families to carry all pregnancies to term then should the governmnet be responsible for some of the costs of raising the resulting children? How far should such subsidies go? School costs, clothing, food, college? Are you will ing to pay the tax increase that these children would cost?

3. You want the government to force women to carry any pregnancy to term. Should the government force people to do other moral things? Give blood, be organ donors, take CPr courses?

Government should allow each state to choose for itself whether or not Abortion should be allowed. And that's all Government should do.

Doctors on the other hand should adhere to their Hippocratic Oaths, and "Do No Harm".

Government already subsidizes illegitimacy via EBT and Welfare. Although not designed for that purpose, EBT Cards, Welfare Checks, and WIC all contribute for the welfare of children, wanted and unwanted irrespectively, to include illegitimate children.

Government already enforces morality. Theft is against the Law, Murder is against the Law, Perjury is against the Law, and Adultery, while no longer against the Law, still carries with it certain social stigmas... In the Military it is still a punishable offense.

We put to death Murderers. Why shouldn't we do the same to the Abortionist?

Roughly 5 million children are aborted world-wide each year. 47 million alone in the U.S. since 1973. Is this not the definition of Genocide? Or more correctly, Infanticide?

Did Hitler kill this many? How can we then say we are any better than that monster?

We can't.
