All I know is that I had a Muslim Maylaysian room mate in the early 1990s in Texas, during the Gulf War as a matter of fact, and he never tried to kill me in my sleep, convert me or otherwise do me harm.
And if I wanted the place to myself, all I had to do was fry up some bacon and he would haul it outta there for the rest of the day. :-)
His dad, however, in Kuala Lumpar, *was* a fan of Saddam.
