America's First Terrorist City-State ?
Mayor Ray Nagin is instituting check-points throughout the city of New Orleans to combat that city's recent murder-wave. Good Grief! If nothing else, Katrina had certainly exposed the soft white underbelly of New Orleans' legacy!
Perhaps we should send in Jimmy Carter and Habitat for Humanity to once and for all rebuild New Orleans. Let Mayor Nagin have his chocolate city back.
All sarcasm aside, at least he's trying to do something. Still, it's a shame it's come to this.
Why is it so unthinkable to abandon New Orleans to the Mississippi? Our obstinance is, after all, the reason new Orleans is sinking.
